YUD, being the smallest of all the letters in the Hebrew alphabet, signifies the importance of humility. The number ten denotes the ten Divine forces (SEFIROT) that form the Tree of Life. It is believed that these forces are the essence of all created matter. HASHEM engraved the Name YUD HEH and carved out a space for creation to exist.
