About The Artist
Alan Najman is a Jewish artist, designer, and spiritual creative whose life’s work stands at the intersection of art, faith, resilience, and service to others. A self-taught creative professional with more than 35 years of experience in graphic design, web development, marketing, and public relations, Alan has built a career not only on visual excellence, but on purpose — using art as a vehicle for healing, connection, and light.
His life story began with moments he often describes as signs of Divine protection. As a young child, he survived a devastating earthquake at the age of three, and by the age of seven, he escaped with his family from a communist regime in search of freedom and opportunity. These early experiences instilled in him resilience, gratitude, and a deep sense of spiritual purpose.
Alan comes from a family of strong heritage and public service. His father served for more than two decades as the Honorary Consul of Israel in Nicaragua and was widely respected for his leadership and dedication. The Najman family name carries a legacy of community involvement, integrity, and commitment to helping others — values that have profoundly shaped Alan’s own path.
His artistic journey began early. At just seven years old, fascinated by both technology and creativity, Alan learned how to “paint with light” on his parents’ television set, experimenting with electronic visuals long before digital art became mainstream. As he grew older, his mission expanded into bold expression through graffiti art, urban visual language, and contemporary design.
Throughout his career, Alan has collaborated with a wide range of creative professionals, entrepreneurs, developers, writers, and visionaries, earning a reputation for integrity, originality, and strategic insight. Respected in his field for merging artistic excellence with spiritual depth, he has contributed to and led collaborative ventures including sitegeist, ex nihilo, and ideabilities — creative ensembles that blended branding, conceptual development, and design innovation across industries.
Yet while collaboration has shaped many chapters of his journey, Alan’s truest creative expression lives within his independent studio, tribalcosmic™. It is there, working in focused solitude, that his most personal and visionary work emerges — art rooted in faith, symbolism, bold expression, and timeless meaning.
Throughout his life, he has been surrounded by holy teachers, artists, musicians, and creative thinkers who shaped both his spiritual outlook and artistic voice. Deeply rooted in Torah study, Kabbalah, and Chassidut, Alan had the privilege of learning from one of the original students of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, further strengthening his connection between art and spirituality.
Alan is a published author, and his literary work reflects the same depth found in his visual art. His book, The Holy Letters of Creation: Blueprint of the Universe, explores the mystical geometry and divine wisdom encoded within the Hebrew alphabet. He is also currently working on another forthcoming work, Because God Is Too Busy Planting Trees, a reflective exploration of faith, human struggle, and everyday miracles. He is presently completing The Fifth Night, an autobiographical work exploring the life, trials, miracles, and creative evolution of a visionary artist driven by faith and destiny.
Beyond his artistic practice, Alan is widely known for his extensive charity and community work, contributing countless hours of pro-bono design and artwork to organizations including Chabad, WIZO, Hadassah, the Jewish Federation, Renewal.org, and numerous synagogues and community initiatives.
At the heart of Alan’s mission is a simple but profound belief: art should serve humanity. He strives to bring people closer — to each other, to their heritage, and to the Divine — using creativity as a force for healing, unity, and hope.
He lives in South Florida with his beautiful soulmate wife and creative genius daughter, who inspire him daily. Their home is one of creativity, laughter, learning, and deep faith — a space where ideas are nurtured and purpose is shared. Alan has been blessed by Hashem many times and remains devoted to using his talents to help bring greater peace, unity, and harmony to the world.
His Hebrew name, Avraham Rafael, reflects both his spiritual inheritance and inner calling — Avraham, the father of nations and embodiment of chesed; Rafael, a name associated with healing and Divine compassion. Alan views this name not merely as an identifier, but as a responsibility. He strives to live in a way that allows the Ruach Hashem — the Divine spirit — to rest upon his actions, his creativity, and his service to others.
He believes deeply that when two strong, creative individuals are rooted in unwavering emunah in Hashem — aligned in purpose and grounded in love — success is not merely possible, it becomes inevitable. Faith removes fear. Unity multiplies strength. Vision guided by trust in the Divine cannot be easily shaken.
Together, anchored in emunah and driven by purpose, they are building more than a body of work — they are building legacy. When creativity is fused with faith, discipline, and resilience, obstacles become stepping stones, and what is meant to unfold will unfold. A true powerhouse is not declared; it is forged through alignment, devotion, and trust in Hashem’s plan.
Shalom, my friend. ❤️❤️❤️
