The design of the TET is like a pot, a vessel with an inverted rim, representing hidden or inverted good.  Another interpreta­tion of the TET  is that it represents a man bending his head to GOD in prayer and thanks.  How are the two connected? After the union between husband and wife, there is conception, GOD willing. The numerical value of TET is nine. This corresponds to the nine months of pregnancy, a period of anticipation and growth. The TET  represents the hidden good that resides within the mother’s womb (the vessel). This hidden good is actualized through a person’s prayers to GOD, asking Him for a healthy child. There are two “wombs” – the TET  of TAMEH, the impure, and the TET of TAHOR, pure. Who is the only one that can produce pure from impure? The Holy One, Blessed Be The Lord.
