The Priestly Blessing (Birkat Kohanim, בִּרְכַּת כֹּהֲנִים) is one of the most ancient and beautiful blessings in Judaism. It appears in the Torah (Numbers 6:24–26) and is recited by the Kohanim — descendants of Aaron, the first High Priest — to bless the people of Israel.
